Dordogne Retreat - a farmhouse tale

We were delighted that our very good friends Peter and Felicity came to visit us for a week. The company was good, the food was excellent (especially the plum crumbles made from our very own plums, and a special mention for the lemon tart - thank you Felicity!) and all in all a good time was had by all.

Peter has not been well for the past few years (Peters Blog) and it was good to see him in such fine form and eating so well. In fact I am convinced he ate more than I did during the time he was here, and that takes some doing! The news on his return was that he only put on a pound and a half, hope the same applies to me!

We visited Brantome and had a good walk around the town and a lovely lunch by the river. The moules frites was good!
